No. All tickets are the same price.

You do not need to print your tickets. If you have a smartphone, we can scan the tickets from your phone. (Please turn up the brightness on your phone)

Old Joliet Haunted Prison is an accessible attraction. Though, there are stairs in certain areas of the haunted house, they can be easily bypassed so all guests can enjoy the show.

There is no age requirement. The experience is not recommended for small children, toddlers, or babies. However, due to the graphic nature of the event, we suggest limiting entry to guests aged 12+.

We do not recommend that pregnant women attend the show. If you have questions, please reach out to your OBGYN.

We do not recommend that people with asthma attend the show. If you have asthma or any other medical concerns, we suggest you consult with your physician before attending one of our attractions.

No. We update characters and attractions each year. If there are audience favorites from past years, we may incorporate these areas into the new floor plan.

No, we do not allow weapons of any kind on the premises.

The queue is both indoor and outdoor. Our attractions are rain or shine so please dress appropriately.

Free parking is available on site. Follow the parking signs on Woodruff Road for directions.

Wait times vary throughout the season. During September and on many weekdays, the wait is usually very short. As it gets closer to Halloween, specifically on a Friday or Saturday night, the wait can be much longer.

To limit your time waiting in line, consider our Fast Pass or Skip the Line ticket upgrade options.

If you become too frightened, try to remain calm and find the nearest actor in the room and they will escort you outside.

Only small bags and clutches not exceeding 4.5″x6.5’” will be allowed, other bags should be left in your vehicle or at home.

No. Each ticket allows one trip through the attraction(s). If you’d like to experience something again, please buy another ticket.

Yes, we have many strobe lights and fog throughout the show. We do not recommend that people with Epilepsy participate. We also do not recommend that people with asthma, heart issues, or pregnant women attend. If you have further questions, please consult with your physician.

No, actors will not touch you and we also ask you not to touch the actors.

Yes. We work hard to ensure the safety of all our guests. As a result, we require each person to pass through our security screening before they enter. Please arrive prior to your ticket time to allow time for the security screening process. Everyone will need to go through a security checkpoint.

Yes, our attractions are rain or shine. Please dress appropriately. Part of the line may be outdoors, however, the haunted house is indoors.

We welcome costumes but do not allow full-face masks/make-up or props of any kind. If you must paint your face, we ask that you remain recognizable enough to match the likeness on your identification card. You must not interact with other guests as one of our cast members. If our security team does not recognize you as a guest, you may be asked to remove your makeup.

Yes. We do not allow foul language, obscene behavior, weapons, alcohol, drugs, or any other illicit objects. Thirteenth Floor and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse admittance to anybody for any reason.

We recommend monitoring the weather and dressing accordingly as much of the experience requires being outdoors. Closed-toe shoes are recommended and offensive clothing with obscene language is not permitted.

The Forsaken

The madness from within the prison has spilled out into the yard where the queen of the damned rules over the most infamous and violent prisoners. This doomsday squad have launched an all-out assault on the living at an attempt to escape their eternal captivity. Journey through the chaos as the path winds through open air smoldering ruins and inside the prison’s machine shop, laundry room and other various industrial spaces. Escape from purgatory might be futile but it won’t stop the prisoner’s from having a bloody good time.

A wealthy and dangerous eccentric has purchased a condemned prison for one sole purpose: To overcome the theory of spiritual existence.The top paranormal scientists in the world are recruited turning the reportedly haunted prison into an elaborate research facility. Not only have they uncovered the secrets of the afterlife, their maniacal leader unknowingly unleashes horrors beyond human comprehension. Within the corroded halls of this evil place, spirts from the most sinister entities the world has ever seen seek vengeance in Condemned.

Mini Escape Games

Mini Escape Games are a fully interactive and immersive experience unlike anything you have ever done before! Race the clock: Your group enters a room and has only 5 minutes to use clues and riddles hidden throughout the room that provide the tools necessary to meet the objective. As the clock ticks down and the pressure mounts…can you stay calm, can you escape? $5 per game (onsite or online purchase)
